At Cannon Line, S.L., we perform non-destructive testing (NDT) in accordance with ISO 9712, using techniques that evaluate the integrity of materials, components, or structures without damaging them. This allows us to detect defects safely and effectively.
Methods
Penetrating Liquids
It detects surface defects invisible to the naked eye by using the capillary properties of liquids, forming an indication pattern on the surface of the tested items.
Magnetic Particles
It is used to detect defects in ferromagnetic materials. By creating a magnetic field over the defect, the defect can be detected by the presence of a flux leakage field.
Ultrasounds
Based on the fact that the ultrasonic transducer sends short ultrasonic pulses to the tested element. Upon encountering a defect, some of the ultrasonic wave energy is reflected back to the UT transducer.
Thickness measurement
It is used to inspect the thickness of metal, whether in ship hulls, pipes, structural steel… It measures the time it takes for a sound pulse to pass through a test piece and reflect back.

Gas Free for Varada

Evaluation and certification of atmospheres in tanks, warehouses, false bottoms, and other confined spaces, guaranteeing safe conditions for personnel access. This service is applicable to operations such as:

Gas Free for Hot Work
